A very attractive and finely woven Persian Senneh rug from the first quarter of the early 1900s. The white central medallion is surrounded by a brick red field and black spandrels, all detailed with stylized floral designs. Blue and red borders hold white diamond shapes. Overall a very nice and correct low pile carpet with modest wear to one end. Wool pile.
84″ x 74″.
This is a rather exotic type as carpets go. $845.
