Two Norwegian Mangle Boards, 18th or 19th century, made for smoothing linens before stacking. The one at the right is strictly functional while at the left you see a more decorative approach, with blue painted horse as a handle. Hang them on the walls together for decoration and as a remembrance of simpler times long forgotten.
