It’s rare when we have a chance to purchase a side cabinet or sideboard that combines a painted finish with classical decoration as well as the most attractive color scheme. This Continental decorated cabinet is of the late 18th or 19th century. Done in a cream-toned background, the blue decoration includes ribbons, swags, rosettes, oval cartouches and bellflowers. The interior has a compartment with a central shelf. The neoclassical pull front design is completed with tapered square neoclassical feet.

Height 32 3/4 inches, width 41 1/4 inches, depth 20 1/2 inches.

Only great luck would let you find another of this beauty, color, rarity, and authenticity. $2800.
