Wine cellarette or wine cooler, England , circa 1785+, in Hepplewhite form. The tapered octagonal case is coopered, i.e. bound in brass hoops like a barrel. Cellarettes are lidded as is this one with brass yoke form lifts. The later interior is divided to hold various wines and spirits.
