Welsh dresser, 18th century , in a warm, dark British oak with layers of polish giving a lovely color. These were made for storing, drying, and displaying pewter and china. A molded cornice is above a pierced fret over open shelves for drying plates and having spoon holders as well. In the lower case, a molded edge top is on three drawers over turned baroque style legs with a shelf below. Excellent for a kitchen or country dining room. In two parts.
