Walnut English baroque stool. An early form with a chamfered leg and stretchers, this stool has no major repairs and is in sturdy order. The chamfers place this in the 16th to 17th century range. The carved decorative stops to the chamfers suggest the outline of a baroque turning. Use as a bench in front of your fireplace. Rare, as this is the only one we have ever owned.
