


Sought for beauty and functionality, the slant front desk or bureau has long been a favorite. This antique example was made in the American Federal period, about 1785 -1810. Highlighted with a banded lid, each drawer has line inlays with correct style oval pulls.The lid lowers to reveal a pigeon hole interior with short drawers and a central prospect door. Over the many years the feet were restored. A value in mahogany at $750.
