Sheffield candlesticks as lamps.
After many requests for Sheffield candlesticks, like the family pair in our own collection, that have been properly wired as lamps, I was able to buy four matching 19th century ones and had them updated with fresh two light clusters, pull chains, and shades. At right are detailed images showing the excellent details of drapery swags, rosettes, urns, and leafage done in the classic manner on baluster form candlesticks. Note also the plater’s hallmarks (unlisted) at the base rim. H. 21″overall, silver only h. 12.5″. Shades 12″ diameter.
