Rhode Island Pembroke Table, circa 1790

Table Table unfolded

This type is identified with the serpentine curve of the top leaves and the use of curly maple on the top and aprons. The legs on these are typically straight grained as the makers were concerned with the warping characteristics of the curly maple. Please note the small size. Perfect for an entry flanked by country side chairs.
H. 28.5″, w. 36″, 19″, or 35.5″ when open. $450.
