Is this a great desk chair or the best way to decorate a corner? This Pennsylvania walnut corner chair is in the Chippendale style and period. The horseshoe shaped back has urn form splats with baluster supports to each side. The slip seat is nicely covered in a damask above a very curvaceous cabriole leg holding a well carved ball and claw foot. Straight legs with slipper feet are at the side. The deep apron indicates that this was also a commode chair. no major repairs. Circa 1740+.
