These are certainly among the most impressive and heaviest Louis XV style sconces that we have ever owned. They are in bronze ormolu with excellent detailing. Date them in the late 1800s or early 1900s. Now electrified. These would be an important addition to a Continental styled room with ormolu mounted furniture. Old repair, and some prisms are later near matches.

The curving oval clip on shades have just been artfully recovered with silk.
