Louis XV style Bureau de Dame, 18th century. Done in a provincial style of fruitwood, this small cabriole leg beauty is a country piece. However, the form retains the essence of a more formal desk, including a charming interior with deep tiered outboard drawers. The old leather writing surface survives with patina. Please note the shaping to the apron below the drawers. It’s small enough to fit into the bedroom as well as the living room. Restored and with old surface.
