French country fruit wood dining table and benches. The table is Directoire in period, circa 1810 to 1820s. A plank top and bread board ends is above a scalloped apron on tall turned legs. The benches are earlier in the baroque style, each plank, rests on a splayed base with bold block and ring turnings and stretchers, 18th century. Offered for sale here only as a set. Warm, mellow old finish with evidence of years of kitchen use.
