This most handsome sideboard has a Stair Gallery, London, provenance reflecting high quality.
This English Hepplewhite sideboard, ca. 1785, is in banded inlaid mahogany of great figure and patina. The outboard drawer fronts are banded at edges as well as having banded rings surrounded by mitered book matched veneers. The central apron is shaped and the case is firmly set on square tapered legs terminating in spade feet. This could be the centerpiece of your dining room wall or even a commodious dresser.
