Early Irish Queen Anne walnut side chair, circa 1720 to 1750. All the beauty in this is found in the scrolling crest with volutes above a fiddle splat on a balloon shaped seat with a later damask cover. Bold cabriole legs at front terminate in trifid feet. Later damask slip seat cover.

This beautifully styled chair should be displayed prominently and used often.
