Dutch sconce pair of heavy brass. This pair has pierced tulip form reflectors. Showing all evidences of their early period, these are typical “S” form scrolled arms with spurs. The arms have a baluster candleholders held by coarse threaded brass. Sand casting is evident verso, with hand filed, mortised juncture of arm and back, plus centuries of polishing on surfaces.
Excellent for flanking a painting or mirror above the fireplace!
