An finely detailed pair of Sheffield candlesticks with rather intricate details of swags over water leaves and a shelf with a rosette flanked by flutes. The vasiform panels hold ram’s heads and further swags over a cartouche. The stepped and coved base carries leafage trims and floral sprays at corners. Plater’s hallmarks are below. Minor wear.
