A very interesting curly maple tall post bed, circa 1830-40. Each bold octagonal post is mounted with a cannonball finial. Possibly New York state. This is shown with a standard full-size mattress which overhangs approximately an inch to each side. The side rails have been adjusted to full length. This is a very charming bed with exceptional curly maple figure and older finish.
