A Continental Fruitwood Console in the French taste from the 1700s, is a country expression of the Louis’s XV period with a scalloped top, blocked façade, and extremely shapely slender cabriole legs terminating in hoof feet. All in an old mellow tone with good shading. Done by a country master who knew how to give life to this furniture form. Excellent as a hall piece.
