Chinese tole tea canister done as a lamp. Overall painted Chinese red and decorated in black against a gilt ground with floral panels flanking a Chinese figure. Late 19 century with possibly later decoration.

Height 30 inches with shade. Canister height 16 inches, 10 inch diameter.
