Chinese Brick, 19th Century

Above and right, Chinese brick, 19th century, terracotta with green and yellow glazed decorations of leaves and flowers. These would have been installed in a garden wall as a decorative screen for air flow.
Use as an interesting table top piece. Verso is the same.
Above: H.13.5″ w. 19.5′ d. 3.5″. $220.
Above, a larger piece with deeper carving and some chips and losses. However, this is nicely mounted on a wooden base.
