A bronze bacchanal with four playful boy putti or sprites on a ground strewn with grapes and grape leaves. The central figure holds a wine chalice aloft. Marked “Clodion 1800″ and mounted on a beveled veined marble base. This is a late 19th or earliest 20th century version of the master sculpture’s work. A perfect table top piece for wine lovers.
