Antique Louis XVI neoclassical mirror, late 18th century. A fluted carved urn on the crest is supported by flanking swags which drape to the sides. The old glass is framed with a molded carving and beading. Below the urn, the framework overhangs the side to hold draping leafage and has bosses at each corner. Please note that it still retains the old hand planed backboards. Now re-gilded and with patinaed surface.
