A most elegant antique George III mahogany breakfront has handsome later and correct pulls. The glass is period wavy glass with only occasional flaws which set in elliptical divisions. The cornice is detailed with dentil carving on a molded face. This was made in six sections for ease in moving and has adjustable shelves. Within the central section, a desk holds small drawers and valanced pigeon holes behind a dark green gilt embossed writing surface.
Below, a cupboard doors conceal storage with sliding drawer.
This is a pleasing alternative to built-ins and, of course, can move with the owner at a later time. Fill it with books, porcelain or other collections to make an elegant room.
