American hepplewhite wing chair

American Hepplewhite wing chair of the late 1700s period. This is a tall and stylish example with square tapered legs on brass casters. The crest is arched and flanked by curving wings above horizontally rolled arms. Upholstered now in an attractive but worn embroidered floral weave. It is a candidate for recovering or discreet addition of arm covers. Restoration.

Height 52 1/2 inches, with 34 inches, depth 35 inches, seat height 19 inches.
