Expandable Elizabethan Style Dining Table

This outstanding dining table was done in the late 19th century as a revival of the famous Elizabethan style. The table is very sought after because of the convenient expanding top.  The base configuration allows chairs to be pulled up to the table. This particular table shows all earmarks of age and  most would assume that it is the 300+ year old original. Please note the outstanding carving on the legs and frieze.

H. 30.5, length  (open) 84, leaves 16.5 each, w. 36. Previously owned by us, then to a local collection,  now offered by us for the estate at this most tempting price. $975.

Note: The two sliding leaves pull out from underneath to add length to each end without any leg obstruction for sitters.
Below, wonderful deep carving of all details.
