18th Century Queen Anne Style Chair

I haven’t had a great wing chair for a while. This early “Queen Anne” type dates in the early to mid 18th century and captures the favorite features of the period. The curving crest is held by shaped wings above scrolling arms. Below are shapely cabriole legs held by serpentine incurvate stretchers in a nice old finish. The fabric is an older silk damask of the correct period style in celadon tones.
This will be a terrific chair for the fall by a warming fire.
