A small German commode of the early 18th century. In desirable block front form, panels of European walnut veneers of great figure and inky streaks that define this type are given banded walnut edges. The top is likewise designed with a black molded rim. The fine brass rococo pulls are old but not the first set and the turned feet are, as is most often the case with 300 year old pieces, later.
32″H x 24″D x 38″W $1800.
