From an older collection, a faded label held to the back with yellowed Scotch tape includes the details of this 18th century English settle pine bench in a warm soft tone. Showing typical wear and some minor losses over the years, if it could talk, it would tell an interesting story. Asymmetrical, the bench curves outward to one side. The legs have an arched, scalloped outline. Shown here in our kitchen.
H. 34″ w. 63″, d. 16″. $900.
