New England Chippendale bonnet top serpentine or oxbow front secretary desk on bold ogee bracket feet.
A so-called broken pediment arch top carries urn finials with carved flames over glazed doors and is flanked by fluted quarter columns. The lower case is a bold slant front desk with a carved oxbow front above carved ogee bracket feet.
Although otherwise quite original in construction, the period top section is likely by association but of the same age. The pleasant old finish is over all and the case still has the original brass pulls. 18th century. H. 95″ to finial tip, w.42″, d. 22″.
