An American eagle, said to be a pilothouse eagle for use on steamboat or ship. A unique and lively 19th century folk art piece, the carver worked with a pine body and walnut wings. Substantial in size, it measures 20″ tall, 17″ wide , and 25″ in length, it would be ideal atop a period tall chest Minor repairs. $1095.
